Su Hobson
Coaching Director, BioAge UK
I’m Su, co-owner and Coaching Director of Bio Age UK. With over a decade of experience as a fitness and nutrition coach, I now specialise in menopause and longevity.
In my 30s, I was stuck in a cycle of extremes.
I spent my early 30s on the Atkins diet, avoiding carbs, overthinking every bite and slipping into disordered eating patterns. I dabbled in exercise, mostly cardio, but nothing consistent. It wasn’t about health. It was about shrinking myself.
I met my husband at 33, got married at 36, and had my first son at 37 — all while we were living in the UK. When he turned 2, we moved to Singapore, and life got even busier. I was juggling a toddler, settling into a new country, and soon pregnant again with our second son.
During that season, I completely stopped looking after myself.
There was no exercise, my diet was packed with sugar, and — outside of pregnancy — I was drinking far too much.
The truth is, alcohol has been a struggle for most of my adult life. I never handled it well, and I used it to cope. It drained my energy, affected my mood, and made everything feel harder than it needed to be.

At 41, feeling burnt out, heavy, and low, I hit a turning point. I turned to my husband and said,
“I’m going to get the fittest and healthiest of my life for turning 50 — and the only way I’ll stick to it is if I make it my career.”
That was the beginning.
We moved to Dubai soon after and I began the work. I qualified as a coach, ran group classes and personal training sessions, and started helping other women while slowly helping myself. It wasn’t perfect — it was HIIT in the living room, simple food swaps, and inching away from sugar. But I was moving. And I was learning.
Then came Saudi Arabia. We moved there in 2017 and that’s where I discovered strength training.
Everything changed.
Weights didn’t just reshape my body, they transformed how I saw myself.
I wasn’t chasing aesthetics anymore, I was building strength.
My body became leaner, more defined. My diet evolved to support it: more protein, smarter fuelling, better recovery. I coached more women, and with every client, my understanding deepened.

In 2021, we returned to the UK — and I built my online coaching business from the ground up. By then, I was deeply immersed in strength training and fully committed to helping women transform not just their bodies, but their health, confidence and mindset.
When I turned 50, I made another big decision: I gave up alcohol for good.
It was the final piece of the puzzle — the one thing that had held me back for decades. Letting it go gave me a clarity and calm I’d never experienced. I celebrated my transformation with a photo shoot, not because of how I looked, but because I finally felt like the woman I’d been working toward becoming.
Today, my focus is on longevity.
Training smarter, not harder.
Eating whole foods, high in protein and fibre.
Prioritising rest, sleep, and nervous system regulation.
Walking in nature. Managing stress. Feeling strong from the inside out.
And I’m still building — still learning — still evolving.
I created BioAge UK with my co-founder Vic — who has her own story of navigating the damage diets and quick fixes can do. Together, we built this company for women like us. Women who’ve had enough of yo-yo health. Women who want to stop starting over. Women ready for something sustainable, science-based, and real.

Victoria Bell
Medical Director, BioAge UK
I’m Victoria, the Medical Director of Bio Age UK. With a decade of nursing experience, I bring a wealth of medical expertise and a passion for holistic health to our practice. My career began in gastroenterology, and for the past ten years, I have run my own busy aesthetics clinic in Lancaster, offering specialised care and anti-ageing treatments to my clients.
Throughout my life, I have faced personal health challenges, including struggles with weight and the frustration of following numerous fad diets. Despite my best efforts, these attempts always left me feeling tired, miserable, and often led to regaining lost weight. As a mum of two, managing my health became even more critical. After my last pregnancy, I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, which significantly impacted my energy levels and my mood. This pivotal moment led me to shift my focus from my external appearances to my internal health, to improve my overall well-being.

Determined to make lasting changes, I embraced lifestyle adjustments that drastically improved my health, reduced inflammation, and restored my energy. My journey of self-discovery and healing introduced me to a community of medical professionals dedicated to the field of longevity. Inspired by this, I trained with renowned experts such as Dr Tim Pearce and Dr Nichola Conlon, further enhancing my knowledge and skills in longevity medicine.
Now, as the Medical Director of Bio Age UK, I am thrilled to collaborate with Su, co-owner of Bio Age UK and Coaching Director. Combining Su’s expertise in fitness, nutrition, and behaviour change with my medical knowledge and holistic approach to patient care, we are committed to leading the way in longevity solutions.
