Launch Night
Six weeks ago, we launched BioAge UK with a fabulous celebration at The Herbarium in Lancaster! It was so lovely to share this special evening with over 50 incredible women.
We’d carefully chosen The Herbarium for its beautiful, intimate setting and it really helped create the perfect atmosphere for the evening. There was a buzz of excitement and curiosity, delicious canapés, gorgeous cupcakes decorated with our logo (almost too pretty to eat!) and the room was filled with happy female chatter.
We had been teasing our new business for weeks leading up to the launch, so on the night we finally shared what it was all about. We presented our vision for BioAge UK and explained why we’re so passionate about helping women take control of their health and longevity. We even shared our personal journeys and how these had led us to develop the concept of a wellness business built on more than just how you look or how much you weigh.
We talked about the challenges we’ve faced as women navigating the often confusing world of health and wellness, and how we believe that true well-being comes from a holistic approach that considers all aspects of a woman’s life.
But this launch party was about more than cupcakes, canapés and turning back the clock. It was the culmination of a journey – one filled with hard work, passion, and a burning desire to make a real difference in women’s lives. We’ve poured our hearts and souls into creating a business that empowers women to prioritise their health and well-being, and to understand that age is just a number! We believe every woman deserves to feel her best, regardless of her age, and we’re committed to providing the tools and support to make that happen.
Why BioAge UK
We know from conversations during the launch how much our business resonated. We remember one lady looking visibly emotional after the presentation because she felt like we were talking directly to her
“Every single thing you said about your own journeys and why it’s so important to focus on our health from the inside out, completely resonated with me”.
That moment really underscored the importance of what we’re doing and fuelled our passion even further.
We have both seen many times over the years, Su through her coaching and Vic through her work in the NHS and Aesthetics, how prioritising our weight or dress size can often lead to following diets and/or fitness routines that aren’t good for our long term health.
As women, our bodies are intricate systems with unique needs. Eating too few calories or overtraining can disrupt hormonal balance, leading to issues like irregular (or even loss of) periods, decreased bone density, loss of muscle mass and negative effects on mental health and body image. These practices can also backfire on weight management goals, as the body may respond by slowing metabolism and storing fat. Prioritising a balanced approach, with adequate nutrition and mindful exercise is crucial for overall health and well-being.
What Next?
Seeing so many amazing local women come together to celebrate with us was truly inspiring. We were overwhelmed by the positive energy and support and it solidified our belief that we’re on the right track.
This is just the beginning for BioAge UK. We are only 6 weeks old but already full of plans on how we are going to grow and impact more and more lives. We’re constantly developing our programme and website to provide value to our clients and we can’t wait to take on our next cohort of clients.
We are so excited to continue this journey with you all, providing cutting-edge biological age testing and personalised coaching to help you achieve your health and longevity goals. Our mission is to create a supportive community where women feel empowered to embrace aging with confidence and vitality.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for the launch party. Here’s to a future filled with vitality, health, and empowered women!
